Hello everyone, I'm not yet a licensed advisor, only to sell Life insurance in Michigan. I've just applied and been contacted by E.J. and wanted to see what everyone had to say about them, I've already heard the, "Knock on doors for 6 months-1 year" thing. I'm still in college but take most of my classes online and am very motivated by money and usually don't have a problem achieving goals that I set my mind to. I used to be an assistant manager of a regional bank.

I interviewed with EJ once like 7 years ago.. I was like 19-20 years old and in college. I got the offer on the condition that I put school on pause for a while because they didn't want it to be a distraction as I started out. They wanted me to sign something, lol.. I said no.
Maybe don't tell them you're in school, or maybe they won't care.

Good advice, I just figured they might want to know that I finish school, since most places won't even give you the time of day without at least an undergrad degree.

Jones is harder to get into than Harvard.
Is it too late to exhume Ken Starr?

Do you have numbers to support that claim?

This is surprising to me as it seems like a degree is an unspoken requirement

Long-time EJ FAs?  It seems like they have been requiring a degree as long as I been here - 6.5 yrs.  Guess I should clarify what I meant and Brome did say 7 yrs ago
