Thanks guys, don't feel like I earned it and I am kind of afraid the snowstorm messed up their systems and they will recall their email and tell me that I failed!

I have heard Level 2 is the bitch.

Great Job Rip ,I heard level 2 is the weeding out test for those who aren't serious about going through the program.

The pass rate for level 2 is a lot lower than level 1 and level 3. I think it's more of a stamina issue than anything. It's rough to maintain the schedule needed to pass for three years while holding down a full time job. I met some kids who were in MS Finance programs where they were taking a class that allowed them to study/prep for the CFA all two years of the program.

Congrats on the pass Rip. Since you passed in DecembeR I'm assuming you are not taking level 2 this june?

Yeah, there is no way I can get set in 4 months. I did just get my Schweser L2 guides and will commit in June when I can first sign up. Going to go full speed for a year on this one.

Yes.  I respect anyone who has taken the time to get thru that beast.  I bombed Level 2 a couple years ago after not respecting the difficulty enough.  Then I flew thru the CFP stuff and got that one to check the box.  I debate every once in awhile if it is worth going back to try and tackle level 2 and 3.  It is a ton of material and none of it is 'easy'.  In our profession it is hard to focus on the business and do that.  There are a ton of pure analysts or analyst wannabe in school or coming out of school that basically dedicate there life to that test for awhile....tough to be an FA and just do it on the side a few hours a week.

I messed up - I should have just started attacking L2 for this June - lost a lot of momentum. Starting this week for June 2016.

L2 is the weed out test - have to want that one to get through it. I didn't deserve to pass L1 in my opinion but oh well,

Also - Analyst Success (American College) is offering all 3 levels of prep and online class for the cost of L1 right now. I used this and Scwheser and passed so its good stuff.

If you can also do the live intensive week class with Kent Baker.  He writes for the exam.

I've been kicking the idea around for a few years and just can't get myself to pull the trigger.

Smart -  you'll need the time interval to study.

I am worried about L2, it had a 46% pass this time up from 42% a couple years ago.

Party

Found out that I passed L3 last week within a few hours of becoming an uncle.  I passed all 3 levels on my first attempt, so if anyone has any questions about preparing, ask away!
