Needed to create a new user name. Dual registered. Life and Health. Brought in at a small indy firm to help the owner "goodnight" part of his book to me. Been actively prospecting for about 10-12 months. Licensed a little longer. Taking CFP in July and I'm halfway through the education course at a local college. Wife has a decent job so pressure to gather assets is more internal than external.  In before I can fail.

You are going to be a huge success in this business. Don't prospect anymore until you pass the CFP. Clients want to see you are a CFP and will not hire you without it.

I figured I would stop prospecting all together even after I pass the CFP. Don't the calls just start coming in anyways?

I just sit at the beach with my phone and the calls come flooding in.

No. Forgot to say I plan on using all possible cash I have to send out direct mail postcards offering free financial planning appointments. Heard that's an untapped market full of potential rollovers.
