   Hello all, 
I
am new to the business, just recently passed my life and health exam and
looking to take the series 7 in about a month, I am 23 and staring at my firm
in about 3 weeks.  I will offer my clients full service financial planning
on a holistic basis, but hope to move more toward the investment side of the
business. I am open to comment and I am always looking for suggestions on how
to build by business.

	Oman, not only stupid people, but we've already done every stupid marketing idea that you could possibly imagine. So, when you have a bright idea, we can collective chime in and tell you what a bad idea it is/was. I only succeeded after I'd tried all the stupid stuff, ran out of bad ideas...

	Thanks for warm welcome, from reading some of these threads I can see there is no lack of sophisticated professionals and advisors and I hope to one day join their ranks. I have been reading alot lately and came across Thomas j Stanley 's networking with millionaires, I was wondering how do you guys feel about his prospecting and marketing case studies, I would love to hear some perspectives.

	Hey guys. whats up. I have been in the business for a while but i had a little situation with the regs that took a bit to clear up. However i am back. I thought this would be a good way to meet people in the business and get myself back out there.

	This is literally the only advisor forum I waste time on anymore...good mix of people and some great idea sharing. Occasionally, it gets a little rough around the edges, but it keeps my mental callouses tough and ready for the occasional rejection that comes with the territory. Welcome aboard.
