Recently passed my series 65 and looking to get my business up and running. Passed my 7 and 63 about a year and a half ago and left that wirehouse for insurance industry where I received my insurance license as well. I found that after 6 months, the insurance industry wasnt the right fit for me. Joined another wirehouse about 2 months ago. Looking to read up on what seems to be working in the realm of prospecting these day. Thanks!

pizza, I get that alot. It was an old college nickname supposed to be read the-spizza. I realized the value of this forum after I spent 3 hours yesterday reading them and absorbing pitches for cold-calling, seeing your rediculous numbers, etc. What pitch seems to be working the best for you now new?

NewRR is our resident cc-ing junkie.  Hopefully, he'll chime in with what's working for him right now....he's using a service pitch at the moment, something along the lines of asking them if they're an investor and if they'd be interested in hearing ideas from him from time to time.  Then, most of the qualifying comes in the second call.
