   Hi All,
I am pleased to make an introduction here and to have found the Advisor Heads forum. I'm currently considering switching careers from Advertising sales to Financial Advisory and am looking at the FADP program at Merrill Lynch. If anyone has any experience with this program, or any advice on transferring from another industry sales into financial advisory I'd love to hear from you.

	Welcome. Read the threads here from rookies on prospecting to know what you're in for. It's great that you have a sales background. That means you have a chance to survive. This will be the hardest sales job you've ever had in your life by a wide margin for the next 3-5 years. If you're still here, it will then be the best job you could ever imagine.
