It's not the free trading or the partial shares. It's the billing, portfolio management and account opening. Which is why I use IB. Because what has Schwab, fidelity or tda done for advisors..

They are all completing for your clients and it's just a matter of time before they charge AUM fees to advisors. And at the same time charge $30/month for what we do. And once you add a client to there platform, they market against you.

I don't think altruist is the golden goose, but I think I would pick them over Schwab, fidelity and tda

Ever see his posts on twitter? I just looked him up recently. MFer is now trashing the shit out of fee based on AUM. So he went from Stockbroker to fee based MF to fee based ETF to hourly and at each step ripped the previous.
