Don't know how anyone new to the industry can make it without door knocking unless they have a huge network and/or lots of cash to live on if a career changer.

App stays opened on my phone while I'm walking. Once I'm done with a house it takes about five seconds to pull my phone out, drop a color coded pin on the map (not home, lead, avoid, etc) , then put it back in my pocket.

Dabomb- Do you use it to load to your CRM as well? Can you talk into it and record notes for each contact? Where do you work?

I'm independent and my CRM is still excel,but yes i just add in the names when I'm done. As for voice text, my keyboard app (Android) does that. Haven't used it for Spotio but I could.

I did door knocking when I ran for a local county office like 5 years ago and I definitely got more confident the more I did.
