| Just wanted to introduce myself. I am restarting my business out west after a move from midwest. Been in the business for 10 years, a former Jones Rep now Independent. Series 7, 24. Spend most of my day prospecting for new business. |

| There were a lot of reasons for the move, but mostly because I wanted to own the business myself and also after trying to relocate multiple times to an office in an area that I actually wanted to live in, I decided that I had to get out and do it on my own. I still have my clients back in the midwest, looking for new ones out west now. I guess I am not technically restarting, as I never really left the business, but it feels like it on most days as I spend most of my time prospecting. |

| Pretty much the same way. I used to cold call residents, then follow with a doorknock. Now I cold call businesses, and follow with a doorknock. I will drop off info on my company, and a business retirment brochure. Then follow up and try to schedule an appointment. |
