Hello all,
Recently separated from active duty and have been attracted to a FA position for several reasons. Joined here to interact with the like minded and learn as much as I can from the experience aboard this forum. Have the first interview with EJ coming up this week, I've seen some of the grief given to EJ but I think it may be a good stepping stone into the world with the training offered and initial coaching.
Anyway, look forward to learning and hopefully I can share something along the way with you all as well.

No worries man. Did you end up choosing EJ or get accepted for employment there then? What is the Kool Aid that's often referenced here? Is it their business practices? I've done a lot of reading online and it seems I have a crap ton of learning to do... If I wouldn't buy from me now how can I expect someone else to? Is the training given sufficient to successfully advise clientele? Any advice is welcomed! Thanks.

If I may, let me suggest two great threads on Jones... I am sharing here what it took me 14 yrs to learn.

| ZR there are a lot of ex jones guys on here that can give you a good un biased view of utilizing the training and tools Jones provides (I think we all agree it is towards the top in the business). A lot have moved on for various reasons but there are a few of us at Jones here. I am relatively new with Jones so I would be happy to give you any advice. Put some thoughts and questions in the Rookie section. You will get a lot of good ( and some worthless) info. This site can become invaluable as you figure out what the hell you are getting yourself into. |
