i actually joined this forum about a year ago but never gave it a chance. i read a few threads in the lobby and they were pretty epic so decided to come on over.

How do you like FINET so far?  Have you had any problems with producing the min to keep your payout high?

Yeah the "hard" is a bit off-putting I suppose. The reason for the name was overhearing new/news at Jones during phone sessions. "Hello Mr. ___? Hi sorry to bother, but uh, hey I was wondering if you might want a free portfolio review? No, oh ok I understand sorry." You've gotta toughen up and stop being so passive if you want to make it in this business. So yeah, hence the username.

today was first day i could finally produce, so really dont have much to compare to yet. the transition was pretty standard from what i've read regarding transitions. finet was very accommodating; overnighting forms when needed. jones took the full 30 days to transfer my license which was very frustrating. as for the payout, to receive full payout with a joint rep office, i believe the quota is $60k per month per branch and he was hitting that on fees alone before i moved in. hes had about 30 years to build his fee-based book...
